South Bay Ford, Inc. Donates 2004 Ford Mustang for Manhattan Beach Athletic Foundation Fund Raiser

May 19, 2004 -- South Bay Ford continues their community support by donating a 2004 Ford Mustang to the Manhattan Beach Athletic Foundation. This foundation supports and issues grants to the Manhattan Beach Unified School District's various High School and Middle School booster clubs, athletic teams and academic departments.

On campus booster clubs, sports teams and academic departments have participated in The Opportunity Drawing Fund Raiser throughout the 2003/2004 school year. The breadth of involvement has included the Boy's Soccer Booster Club, the Football Booster Club, the Baseball Booster Club, the Drama Booster Club, the Band Booster Club, the Boys Volleyball Booster Club, the Wrestling Booster Club, Boy's and Girl's Water Polo Booster Club, the Track and Field Booster Club, the PTSA, MBMS PTA, the Orchestra Booster Club, the Cross Country Booster Club, the Boy's Basketball Booster Club, as well as The Alumni Association, the PEP squad, the Women's Basketball Booster Club, the Softball Booster Club, and the Wood Shop. Approximately $35,000 was raised by the clubs and sports teams to benefit their organizations, Manhattan Beach Middle School and Mira Costa High School.

The winning ticket was drawn by Gary Premeaux, President of South Bay Ford on Saturday, May 15th. The Mustang will be presented to the winner on Thursday, May, 20 at 5:00 p.m. in the showroom of South Bay Ford – 5100 W. Rosecrans Ave., Hawthorne.
